I am a real fan of crystal lacquers. They come in sets of 6 with different colour combinations. By gently squeezing the tube you can fill in sections between peel-offs, embossed images and even free hand if you allow the lacquer to dry before putting another colour next to it. Make sure to keep the tip in the lacquer to reduce air bubbles. If you get a bubble then prick it with a pin.
When dry, about 20 minutes, it leaves a raised glossy surface which looks fantastic on Treasure Boxes. This is one that I did using pastel lacquers. I used a large stamp that was pressed onto a Big and Bossy Pad, stamped the image onto some Bazzill cardstock then sprinkled it with embossing powder and heated with a heat gun to seal the image. Then I 'coloured' in whre I thought most suitable using the lacquers, allowing each section to dry before putting another colour next to it.
The idea with these boxes is to use a medallion stamp (on order) and pee wee glitters for the top but for speed I used a large blossom.
This is a small Treasure box made by Liz Oliver-Taylor, using the Twinkling H2O's (see Madges first pst for details on how to use them) and pee wee glitter for the lid. They can be made with 4, 5 or 6 sides and the stamp is cut to accommodate the different size boxes
